October 18, 2019
“Is it supposed to be this HOTTT days before October?”, I thought to myself as I climbed up the 3 and a half foot wall after the pregnant woman who had made it look so easy. There was a gorgeous little area where we all wanted to take the photos, but you had to climb up this short awkward wall/ bank of the creek to get to it. Before I could even ask Galicia if she needed help up she was already scaling the wall! She said she may be 7 months pregnant but she can still get around just fine! And let me tell yall she probably looked more graceful climbing this wall than I did.
We were at Bull Creek Park in Austin, Texas taking maternity photos for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law who in a few short months will be new parents to my first nephew! The scenery was gorgeous. My photographer brain didn’t know which of the million perfect spots to go to first. I was worried about trekking around the park too much with someone 7 months pregnant in tow, but y’all she rocked it! From the white river rock, to cactuses, and an old stair case this session was an absolute dream. We laughed and had so much fun! I loved seeing the love Justin and Galicia had for each other and their little unborn bundle of joy! To top the whole session off we traveled into downtown Austin and finished with couple photos in front of the iconic I love you so much mural! It was so fitting for the occasion!
Justin and Galicia I am beyond excited for you two and I can only hope that one day I am as graceful of a pregnant woman as Galicia has been! (Y’all she also told us that she hiked a mountain during their recent trip north! I need to get in shape!)
I can’t wait to meet and spoil little baby JAM.
