Hannah & Jonathan’s East Texas Chapel Wedding

Posted in: Weddings

Hannah & Jonathan tied the knot on 4/3/21. This was a very special wedding for me to capture as Hannah is my best friend of over 12 years!

Jonathan & Hannah had bumped into each other when they were only 15 years old taking drivers ed. Jonathan thought Hannah was the prettiest girl he had ever seen, but never got the chance to talk to her. Years later the two ran into each other at college. When Jonathan saw her he thought “If this girl is from my hometown, then she’s the girl the from drivers ed.” Of course she was! The two got to know each other and became friends before deciding to start dating! The two are a perfect match and enjoy fishing (well Jonathan fishes, Hannah reads her books), and evening walks together!

The two decided to get married at McMahan Chapel, a small chapel in the east Texas woods. This location was sentimental as Hannah is now the 8th generation to get married here! The chapel itself is so adorable and the groundskeeper told me how hard he had worked to make everything picture ready! He did not disappoint as you will be able to tell below! The garden, and azaleas did not disappoint!

After the ceremony guests were treated to a reception at The Fredonia Hotel! It was perfect. All Hannah & Jonathan’s friends got to dance the night away and there was a macaroni bar! Does it get better?! When the reception ended we also had time to take some pictures downtown and they are some of my favorites!

Hannah & Jonathan I wish you a lifetime of happiness! Thank you for entrusting me to capture your wedding day! I know you will be back in front of my camera soon!
